Daves Signs at a New Location
Dave’s signs recently moved to a new location, on 4773 Ortega Street Unit C., near Telephone and Market.
The reason for moving was quite simple and worth celebrating: we outgrew our old location. For the amount of projects we are handling at any given moment, it was necessary for us to find a larger workspace, allowing for a larger manufacturing facility and additional staff. The large, open space for manufacturing also makes our workflow more efficient, making collaboration seamless and easy.
Beyond the manufacturing space, we’ve also added space for everyone to have their own office for private meetings. We have a large conference room for the whole team to sit down together and discuss our direction and goals, both short and long-term.
Certain jobs require a dedicated space, and so we’ve been able to allocate an entire large room to digital and vinyl sign production, as well as a larger space dedicated to neon sign production.
Throughout the facility large worktables are paired with small tables on rollers to move with the job throughout the fabrication process. Each sign moves easily from one step in its processed to the next.
Ultimately the decision to move was entirely based on possibility. We knew that with added capacity we could take on more projects and finish them faster than before. It is exciting to be able to welcome new staff to the team and offer them a spacious and rewarding work environment.

Take Eastman Avenue all the way down. Eastman will veer left and turn into Ortega Street. We are unit “C” on the corner of Ortega Street and Palma Drive.
