Lal Mirch Custom Sign Design Agoura Hills
Every once in a while, an apparently simple sign design becomes unexpectedly complex. This is exactly what happened in the process of creating the sign for Lal Mirch Indian Restaurant in Agoura Hills.
The design of the channel letter sign was simple – the letters would be mounted onto a small frame that would compensate for the slightly slanted roof. However, when the sign went to the city for approval, they responded that the sign would need to have a mansard added on to be approved. Creating this mansard took a simple sign design and added unexpected complexities.
We were able to create the mansard that the city required before installing the sign. We carefully considered the color scheme of the building, and the shingles of the roof, and recreated the exact look of the building when constructing the mansard. The result is that it fits perfectly in with the look and feel that we intended with the original sign design.
